Student Work - Radiant Suns Workshop
I have some photographs of student work from workshops here. If you would like to have your photo included, please email me a photo of your quilt, your name (it can be just your first name if you are shy), and the name of your quilt. And if you see your work and you would like you name on it, please let me know and I will add it. I hope to have this area grow so that new students can be inspired by other student's work!

Radiant Suns by Becky D. Becky made the Radiant Suns pattern and used Aboriginal fabrics for her blocks. She made them float on the background and it looks fabulous! |
The House of the Rising Sun by Wendy W. Wendy and I met many years ago at Quilt Camp in the Pines. She sent me photos of her design using the Radiant Suns block. I love her use of color and compostion! |

Radiant Suns by Karen N. Karen took the Radiant Suns workshop with me in 2003 at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas. I saw the image on Facebook and contacted her. I just love her setting! It vibrates! She won an Honerable Mention for the large pieced catagory as well as Best Use of Color! Congratulations Karen! |

Radiant Suns with Asian fabrics! According to Diane A., this quilt is owned and was cut out by Barbara P. Pieced for the most part by Karen S. Barbara sewed all the rows. Layout by committee, following my pattern. It's going to have a plain black border, against Diane's advice to put overflow blocks into the border. Karen is going to quilt it and send another photo when it's all finished! |

Heat Wave by Terri B Terri attended The Quilter's Affair in Sisters, Oregon during the summer of 2006 and this is the stunning result! Heat Wave tied for 2nd place in the bed sized machine pieced, machine quilted category at the Mt. Stars quilt show the weekend of April 21, 2007. It was her first ribbon and she is so thrilled. |
